Corymb Diamond Flower (Parpadaka)

A small herb used for folk medicine, especially for its cooling, blood‑purifying, and anti‑inflammatory actions on the skin. It can be used against several skin-related infections.

In decoctions and combined herbal formulas, Parpadaka is used systemically to reduce recurrent pimples, boils, and urticarial rashes; it has a Pitta‑cooling and “blood‑purifying” (Raktashodhaka‑like) effect. Traditional poultices and topical preparations are applied to eczema, ringworm, and mild palmoplantar‑type psoriasis‑like plaques. Aqueous leaf-based preparations or poultices are used externally on sores and inflamed skin, and the plant juice is also applied to cool burning sensations on palms and soles during fever.
